To make things short today, everything i ever said about the Sanrenmu 710 applies to the 723 also. There is a different shape of handle and blade, a more pronounced hollow grind maybe. Besides, the 723 is every bit just a great value as the 710 is.
Some of you reading this might know that there is a made-in-china knife from Buck that is called the Model 327. It usually costs thrice as much as a Sanrenmu 723, but it is very probably made in the same factory to the same quality standards. The Buck only boasts a fancy titanium coating. Get the “original” from Sanrenmu instead.
You just have to live with the fact that the 723 says “stainless steel folding knife” on the handle. I would not mistake it for a fixed blade, but that´s what it reads. The general size of the knife compares to a Vic Soldier Alox.
