Mora Companion MG

The Companion knives appeared on the market in 2010 and are meant to replace the Clipper line. I chose the model MG (military green?) with 2mm carbon steel blade to check them out and was pleasantly surprised. The new gripping surface is actually more comfortable than the pebbled handle of the Clipper. The quality of the sheath seems improved also, but not much. It serves a purpose and is more functional (read : safer) than a cheap leather construction. As a southpaw, just cut off the belt loop arrangement and use it as a stick sheath in your waistband. Better yet, have a kydex carrier made. The Companion MG can also be had with a stainless steel blade that is slightly thicker.
