The Parker IM is probably an attempt to offer an Asia produced FP that lures people into thinking they have purchased a high class writing instrument. I cannot quite rate it as that good. First of all, the design is somewhat wrong when it comes to the nib. Parker really should have gone with a hidden nib and made a longer, less slippery section. As it is, the pen looks a bit strange. The finish is first rate, however. I am not sure if mine is a keeper as it shows a slight skipping tendency, but that could be my sample only and can be remedied with trying out different inks of just slowing down a little when using the IM.
